Dongfeng Motor Company equipped with Tendzone Midis solution

CHINA: Wuhan Province recently installed a Tendzone Midis (multi media information distributive and interactive system) sound reinforcement solution supplied by Shenzhen Tendzone Intelligent Co Ltd into two conference rooms at the Dongfeng Motor Company in China.

The client specified that it required a speaker solution that was suited for its video conference room and its multi-functional hall – which acts as the master control room.

In a project that took seven weeks, Wuhan Province installed two MS-10/B loudspeakers into the facility, along with eight D62 ceiling speakers as a part of the main sound reinforcement system. In addition to this, a DA2600 digital stereo amplifier was installed, as was a DA8100 eight-channel digital amplifier and a Tendzone audio matrix.

For the video system side of the install, two Tendzone HCAM-200 HD cameras were fitted into the building, as were two EXI-1000/V-HD HD and two SI-1000/V-HD input interface units, complete with two EXO-1000/V-HD HD output interface units. Meanwhile, a CC-100/FU scene control interface unit, a CC-8C eight-channel high power control interface and two IR-S infra red transmitters were installed. Completing the Tendzone side of the project is one TH-7W interactive DP Panel and Mo-Win end user software. The rest of the audio equipment comprised products from Fiontu and Audio-Technica.

‘The overall install facilitates visualisation, networking, HD A/V transmission, A/V transfer, the exchanging of information, storage and recording and broadcasting,’ said Chris He, marketing, Shenzhen Tendzone Intelligent Technology Co Ltd. ‘Normally such a system would be very costly, but not when using Tendzone.

‘Dongfeng Motor Company are the first company in their industry to use such an intelligent system as the Midis solution,’ he added. ‘The client is very happy as now they have an intelligent yet cost effective system. Just by being wireless alone has already saved them money on cabling costs.’
