Dr Klaus-Peter Scholz retires from Stagetec

WORLD: Dr Klaus-Peter Scholz, a founder and pioneer of Stagetec Entwicklungsgesellschaft in Berlin, has announced his imminent retirement.
Dr Scholz was instrumental in shaping the company's image, using his in-depth knowledge of digital audio technology to act as the interface between technical development and distribution.
As part of his activities, Dr Scholz advised customers on site when new equipment was installed or put into operation, and provided technical consulting. In future, René Harder will be responsible for this area, who began his career at Stagetec as a developer in 2003, and was later appointed to the role of assistant manager.
‘Stagetec has driven innovation from the first digital Nexus audio networks and Cantus mixing consoles, going from strength to strength in the 20 years since its founding,’ said Dr Scholz. ‘Today, our broad range of products caters to a multitude of industries on all continents which gives us healthy stability in the market, also during turbulent times,’ he added.
‘I even accepted an Emmy in Los Angeles on behalf of Stagetec,’ he furthered. ‘I am proud to have done my part to build this success – and I think back fondly on the many great times I have had with our customers, be it at the initial planning meetings or the final opening ceremony for a new installation.’
