DTS acquires Manzanita Systems

WORLD: High-definition audio solution supplier DTS has announced the strategic acquisition of Manzanita Systems, a developer of MPEG software solutions for digital television, video on demand (VOD) and over-the-top (OTT) markets. The move will diversify the audio company’s portfolio by allowing it to leverage Manzanita’s toolset offerings to more rapidly deploy new technologies and broaden customer support capabilities.
