Durpun Sound invests in Dynatech line array

INDIA: Chandrapur-based sound provider, Durpun Sound, has purchased a line array system from Taiwanese-manufacturer Dynatech. The decision to select the system was reportedly made due to the company’s desire to use a scalable system catering to many different types of venues in addition to providing a high SPL output. The system was purchased through Sonotone's dealer, Liberty Electronics.

‘From experience, we always knew how crucial it was to purchase the rig from a source that was trustworthy, reliable and customer friendly especially from the sales, engineering and technical support and service point of view,’ explained Durpun Sound owner Vijay Das. ‘And there was absolutely no doubt that we’d be doing business only with Liberty electronics owing to their stellar reputation in the market for delivering quality solutions and backing it up with great sales and after-sales service and support. Needless to say that the experience we had in dealing with the entire team at Liberty electronics was absolutely fabulous. We’re thrilled to have the new DynaTech DVX rig and we’re confident that this move will do wonders for an enhanced scope of business in the days to come.’

The system of four Dynatech DVX line arrays is powered by Dynatech V7000 amplifiers, with PD-5000 amplifiers used to drive the P.Audio speaker-equipped subwoofers. The entire system is controlled by a Dynatech DPA-260 processor.
