E&E and Sound and Vision tackle Hyderabad school

INDIA: Systems integrator Sound and Vision recently installed a new audio reinforcement system, designed and tuned by Milind Raorane, into the Hyderabad Public School’s multipurpose hall.
In total, two Community ENT220 speakers with two VLF212 subs were installed, as was a Symetrix Jupiter 12 system, two Ashly Audio KLR-4000 amplifiers, one Opus 168 vocal set, an Opus 155 neck-worn set and an Opus 150 moderator set from beyerdynamic.
The client specified a new audio system for its hall as it features metal-deck roofing and had no internal acoustic treatment to speak of. According to Sound and Vision, ‘the Entasys system was selected due to the fact that its sleek columns blend well into the space, it is backed up by EASE – showcasing the even SPL – and crucially, it was half the price when compared to a quote for a competing system’.
‘Fitting into the budget required, working within the space available and the acoustic nature of the room proved to be challenging,’ said E&E Systems project manager Jesmon PK. ‘The client is happy with the new system and they are using it regularly.’
