E&E installs Prym Audio into Sanctum

INDIA: Describing itself as an exclusive and luxury bar and restaurant, Sanctum Club in Bangalore has been outfitted with new dance floor and lounge area sound systems from Prym Audio. The installation was carried out by Jesmon Kunjumon and a team from E&E Systems (India) Pvt Ltd, with the goal of maximising sound pressures levels throughout the areas without causing ear fatigue on the dance floor. The sound engineer for the project was Ashley Alemao.

The venue itself is located in the heart of Bangalore City and is open for more than 12 hours a day, seven days a week. It aims to provide its members with the ‘perfect atmosphere for work and pleasure’, and therefore a high-quality sound system was imperative.

The club’s 2,000 sq-m dance floor area has been enhanced with the addition of four pole-mounted Prym Audio S15 two-way loudspeakers powered by an A600 amplifier, and three S218 double 18-inch subwoofers powered by an A1100.

A week after the dance floor installation was completed, club owner Baba Chandok requested the team return to extend the system out in the lounge area. Sound was distributed throughout the lounge to provide a similar experience as on the dance floor, albeit at more comfortable listening levels. A total of four additional S10 10-inch two-way loudspeakers and two S18 single 18-inch subwoofers were connected to an A1100 amp to provide the necessary fill.

‘Let me take this opportunity to thank Poncho and his team (from E&E) on a job well done. The sound is fantastic,’ concluded Mr Chandok. ‘I'm not done yet though, more surprises await our members and friends.’
