EAW worldwide sales to be led by Rusty Waite

WORLD: Rusty Waite has been named vice president of sales for EAW. The appointment sees the 25-year audio industry veteran, described by EAW president Jeff Rocha as ‘a powerhouse leader’, take on responsibility for the brand’s global sales network. He will be based in EAW’s design centre in Whitinsville, USA.
The news follows a number of significant recent announcements from the US loudspeaker brand including the launch of the Anya tour sound system plus major installations at the Barclay’s Center in New York and the soon-to-be-commissioned Singapore Sports Hub.
Mr Rocha continued: ‘Rusty has just the right mix of hands-on product and industry knowledge, audio engineering and production chops, marketing savvy and business development experience to take EAW to the next level and beyond.’
Following the appointment, Mr Waite commented: ‘Throughout my 25 years in the industry, I’ve looked up to the EAW brand for its phenomenal sound and reliability. But as I got closer, I was flat-out blown away by the newer lines such as Anya and the QX series. Coupled with the fact that the majority of EAW speakers are once again manufactured in the US, our momentum is catching on both domestically and internationally, and I cannot wait to see what we as a team do next.’
