Ecler appoints PCM as new distributor for Indonesia

INDONESIA: Spanish audio systems manufacturer Ecler has appointed PCM as its exclusive Indonesian distributor with immediate effect. South East Asian area manager Lawrence Lee confirmed terms and conditions with PCM general manager Sin Lok, allowing the Jakarta-based company to become a ‘one stop shop systems solution provider’.
‘We already distribute the Superlux, S2CEB, Xilica and Arthur Holm brands here in Indonesia, but with Ecler we really can provide our dealers with a complete portfolio of audio solutions for any scale of project or event,’ explained Sin Lok.
‘I have been using Ecler’s multi-channel amplifiers for some time now, they are very reliable and I have been impressed by the new Verso self-powered loudspeakers.’
PCM has acquired many Ecler products for demonstration purposes, which will now allow the company to train its dealers – numbering more than 100 – across the archipelago. ‘We will be also extensively marketing the brand in Indonesia by hosting clinics and advertising,’ confirmed Sin Lok.
PCM was formed in 2003, but now employees some 40 personnel at its Mangga Dua headquarters. ‘I am particularly impressed with the reliability of the brand,’ furthered Sin Lok. ‘We’re so confident, that we are offering five years extra warranty on all Ecler products – we will only charge for labour. In terms of price-performance, their products are hard to beat and they pack a lot of interesting features.’
Laurence Lee has been overseeing the Ecler distribution network in south East Asia for three years and was happy to welcome PCM into the fold. ‘PCM are not only well established and customer-focused, but they are very proactive in the market. We’re looking forward to working together for the long term with Sin Lok and his experienced team.’
PCM will be provided with extensive training at the Ecler headquarters in Barcelona, Spain.
