Ed Ellett join Audinate Technical Advisory Board

WORLD: Veteran technology expert Ed Ellett has been named as the latest addition to Audinate’s Technical Advisory Board, with a brief to advise the manufacturer on strategic market trends while consulting on the company’s R&D programs and product development plans.
Boasting 30 years of experience within high-technology circles, Mr Ellett has worked for companies including Polycom, AMD, IBM, Dell, Digital Equipment Corporation, Cyrix Corp. and the Compaq Computer Corporation.
He is the former senior vice-president and general manager of Polycom’s Unified Communications Video Division, as well as the one-time vice-president and general manager of AMD’s Microprocessor Business Unit. He currently sits on the board of directors for both software company Vyopta, and video camera technology specialist Nuvixa, while also acting as a technology and business advisor to Texas Venture Labs at the University of Texas.
