SINGAPORE: Electro-Voice recently launched its new ZLX speaker system at the
British Club in Singapore. A packed audience assembled at the Elizabeth Room to witness and experience the new Electro-Voice ZLX portable loudspeakers.
The manufacturer stated that the new model possesses ‘the most complete and innovative package of features to provide more control over the sound.’ Prior to the ZLX being unveiled, sales and marketing manager, Gordon Lee and his colleagues from Bosch Communications Singapore presented an Electro-Voice and Dynacord product overview, together with updates from the Bosch PA and Conference series of products.
The audience also had a sneak preview of the new Bosch Plena matrix digital sound system, which allows the delivery of audio across multiple zones – from any location, using various iOS mobile. The sound demonstration of the ZLX powered and passive loudspeakers was then assisted with acoustic performances by EV endorsed artistes, Charmaine Pelaez and Hariz and Lincoln.
‘We really wanted to demonstrate the new ZLX systems in order to showcase the five P’s: precision, power, portability, presence and performance,’ said Mr Lee. ‘In terms of price-performance, you won’t find a better speaker system on the market. We therefore had to thoroughly demonstrate visual control and monitoring with pre-sets, the custom-built 1,000W Class-D amplifier, EV-engineered components for superior sound, together with unique hi/lo grip handles and lightweight construction in stunning enclosures. In hosting this unique event, I feel that the market here in South East Asia will quickly appreciate what the engineers at Electro-Voice have conceived.’
