AUSTRALIA: ENTECH 2013 has exceeded expectations by delivering the largest attendance in the exhibition’s history, with 4,705 unique visitors attending ENTECH 2013 and a total attendance of 5,469, including revisits.
Overall, ENTECH can report that it has delivered a 17 per cent increase on interstate visitors, an overall five per cent increase on the previous show with a seven per cent increase of visitors coming back for second look during the three days.
‘We are delighted to see the industry turn out in its thousands over the three days and not only see all the new technology on display, attend seminars and networking functions but really embrace the ENTECH/SMPTE collocation, which has been a huge success with exhibitors of both shows seeing the positive impact on visitor numbers again,’ enthused ENTECH event manager Stephen Dallimore.
Almost 1,000 visitors attended the education seminar programme over three days, which saw international and national keynote speakers present on key trends and industry topics. ‘The strength of the seminar programme proved to be a big draw card for interstate visitors coming to ENTECH,’ Mr Dallimore confirmed.
July 2014 will see ENTECH Connect return to Melbourne, where it will continue to focus on education, networking and onsite training for the pro audio, audio visual, integration and lighting and staging professionals.
‘We are very excited for the future as we will be continuing our Technician Lunch Series (Audio and Lighting lunches) that we launched in 2013 and will be adding an A/V and staging programme as well,’ said Mr Dallimore. ‘The show will also feature a live audio demo area.’
