ENTECH 2013 to feature Sydney Opera House case study

AUSTRALIA: ENTECH 2013’s seminar programme will include a case study presentation on Sydney Opera House’s stage management system project.

The stage management system project, the largest technical infrastructure development the Sydney Opera House has ever undertaken, aims to prepare the building for the future by integrating broadcast quality HD camera and video systems along with an audio distribution network, paging, communications systems and new studio production facilities for audio and video.

‘The future is all abut engaging and developing content for the multiple platforms the digital world now enables,’ said David Claringbold, Sydney Opera House director, theatre and events.

With the project scheduled to be finalised by August 2013, the ENTECH session will offer a first hand account of the project from all those involved. Presenters will include Mr Claringbold, Brad Maiden, head of technical support, SOH with representatives from Rutledge Engineering and Salzbrenner Stagetec.

More information about the ENTECH 2013 seminar programme will be released over the coming weeks, and registration will be open from Feb 2013.
