Equipson builds anechoic chamber and announces new hires

WORLD: Spanish manufacturer Equipson has finalised the development of its new anechoic chamber. This investment is part of the many actions led by the company to improve its capabilities for designing advanced acoustic loudspeakers.

Meanwhile, the company has announced that new industry experts have joined its engineering team in charge of acoustic projects. ‘This shows the will of the company to develop high quality sound products,’ said a company spokesperson.

The construction of the anechoic chamber is described as ‘a logical step’ in the evolution of Work. The specific design of the anechoic chamber completely absorbs reflections to minimise the reflections of a room.

‘Thanks to this wonderful tool, engineers in charge of sound projects have the opportunity to obtain precise results in-situ for loudspeakers in development,’ said the spokesperson. ‘This is clearly a project accelerator, taking into account that before, it was necessary to subcontract this service in universities that owned anechoic chambers. With it, engineers not only have precise measurements: it actually boosts innovation because it is now possible to realise as many audio tests as required.’
