Face opens new Guangzhou club with d&b sound systems

CHINA: The Face nightclub chain has opened a new venue in Guangzhou. d&b audiotechnik China was brought into the project by system integrator Dragon Studios, one of the manufacturer’s key integrators in China.

‘My company has worked very close with d&b for the past few years,’ said Dragon Studio’s Johnny Tang. ‘As we are the d&b installation partner for the entertainment market in China, I propose the brand to almost all my clubs and bars customers. The sound quality, as well as the before and after sales service from d&b, is excellent. It makes every project I work on become easier and better.’

The club’s main dancefloor area has been installed with a system comprising Ci7 installation series top end speaker with, Ci7-SUB and B2-SUB subwoofers, with an additional system of 10 12G speakers used as DJ monitors and for extra coverage around the room.

In addition, two VIP karaoke rooms have each been installed with four further 12Gs and two 18S-SUB subwoofers. Designed for the Chinese market, the 12G is a high performance two-way multipurpose loudspeaker employing an integrated 12-inch coaxial driver in a bass-reflex enclosure. It can be used for speech and music, as a stand alone or incorporated into a larger distributed system.

‘We are very satisfied and happy with the sound systems in our new branch of Face,’ said the company’s corporate consultant, Noobi Peng. ‘We are very aware that d&b is a professional brand for the nightclub market, and is used in many high profile clubs around the world. Face has been going for more than 10 years and has become a famous brand throughout China. We are promoting EDM and club culture throughout the country, and have other clubs in Shenzen and Shanghai.’
