First luxury residential project in Vietnam relies on Bosch security

VIETNAM: Bosch Security Systems has installed a comprehensive surveillance and public address solution into Vietnam’s first luxury residential project. Named The Vista and located in Ho Chi Minh City, the development represents an investment of US$200 million.

Included within The Vista are 750 modern apartments spread over five 28-storey buildings, plus 35,000 sq-m of retail space, a 50m pool and a modern clubhouse boasting a steam bath, spa and sauna, a gymnasium, putting green and a tennis court. Terence Ng, general manager of Bosch Security Systems Indochina, has described the resort as setting ‘high standards in terms of its design, and these are naturally reflected in the security requirements.’

Bosch surveillance cameras have been positioned throughout the development, working alongside an integrated public address installation to inform residents of any unauthorised persons in the area. More than 200 of the manufacturer’s LBC horn loudspeakers are in use to provide the early-warning system, while a further 800 LHM ceiling loudspeakers have been integrated to deliver emergency messages and announcements.

Included within the CCTV design meanwhile are 56 IR Dome cameras, three AutoDome Series day/night PTZ cameras, and 15 LTC Series cameras. These are backed by LCD monitors from Bosch’s UML range plus seven digital video recorders.
