SINGAPORE: The first permanent installation of an AKG CS3 conferencing system in Singapore has been completed in the boardroom facility of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI). The system was supplied and installed by local Harman Professional distributor Mahajak SKM Electronics Pte Ltd.
First established in 1906 as the General Chinese Trade Affairs Association, the SCCCI is the apex body of the Chinese business community in Singapore. In 1995 it became the first business chamber in the region to be awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification. Following the July refurbishment of its boardroom, it now boasts a conferencing system comprising a single base unit supporting one chairman unit and 38 delegate units. Control can be automated or manual depending on user requirements.
‘The CS3 conferencing system may be seen as an entry-level system, but it is both reliable in performance and precise in application,’ commented Mahajak SKM Electronics sales manager Glenn Lin.
