Focal Professional to launch SM9 in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Following a launch event in Malaysia earlier this week, Focal Professional has announced it will unveil its SM9 mid-field monitoring system in Singapore on March 2nd at the National University of Singapore in the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Of Music recording studio. The event will be organised by the brand’s distributor Broadcast Communications International, and will be the first commercial SM9 launch to take place in Singapore.
The launch will be presented by Nicolas Debard, Focal Professional pro audio division manager, who will provide an introduction to the brand, which will be followed by a listening session.
‘This is an area where people believe in quality and the finest equipment, and the SM9 is just that,’ said William Ng, managing director, Broadcast Communications International. ‘The success of this launch will propagate to the rest of the region pretty quickly as Singapore is considered a regional hub,’ he furthered.
‘We expect approximately 50 people will attend, and think the SM9 will be a successful product here and throughout the region. I think it has huge potential as people appreciate the best, and we anticipate a high demand for it,’ he asserted.
‘We hope this launch will place Focal Professional where it belongs, and that the SM9 becomes synonymous with its renowned consumer siblings. Also, customers will now be able appreciate the finest at an affordable price point,’ he added.
Broadcast Communications International will be showcasing the SM9 at Broadcast Asia in June.
