Fohhn system chosen for brand new Chinese theatre

CHINA: The newly built Zhejiang Dongyang Theatre’s 1,200 capacity venue has benefitted from a substantial Fohhn systems installation. Fohhn’s Chinese partner Shoushan Systems Integration Ltd coordinated the installation, which included loudspeakers, DSP-based amplifiers and remote control and networking technology.
A total of 82 Fohhn loudspeakers were selected for the theatre. These comprised 22 AT-66 Arena speaker systems and 20 AT-10 two-way speaker systems from Fohhn’s Arc-Series, as well as eight AS-40 compact subwoofers, 22 Linea Series AL-20 near-field systems, and four Linea AL-150 line source column speakers. Meanwhile, six XM-4 wedges were supplied for stage monitoring.
Completing the new equipment was a total of 31 DSP-controlled amplifiers. The 20 D-2.1500, 10 D-4.750, and single D-2.750 have been networked with two FC-9 controllers. This enables the entire system to be monitored and controlled using a central media control device.
