Forerunner Technologies adopts Mipro distribution

PHILIPPINES: Microphone manufacturer Mipro has announced the appointment of Forerunner Technologies as its new exclusive distributor in the Philippines.
Based in Manilla and established in 1999, Forerunner Technologies reportedly boasts a strong network of rental and production clients. Led by CEO Mario Benipayo, it will now be responsible for the importation, distribution, applications support and after-sales service of Mipro’s wireless microphone systems, wireless in-ear monitor systems and portable ENG receivers. The Taiwanese brand joins Digidesign, Mackie, RCF, Aviom, and Numark on the distributor’s roster.
‘Mipro has long been a well respected RF microphone brand in the Philippines,’ commented Mr Benipayo. ‘Through the years it has proven itself to be as good and reliable as any of the big name brands. The product line offers an array of solutions for various applications and is priced competitively. More than anything, Mipro as a manufacturer is responsive and supportive of its clients. Mipro is equally pleased with the deal, with vice president of international sales Eugene Chen explaining: ‘We have known Mario and worked favourably with marketing manager Vincent (Bong) Aycocho in the past. The company is well-known and offers regular training seminars, technical assistance and provides excellent support to its dealer base. Thus, we seized the opportunity when it presented itself.’
