Fourleaf covers Japanese distribution for GLP

JAPAN: Due to its targeted marketing strategy that focuses on the local rental market, Fourleaf Inc has been appointed as GLP’s distributor in Japan. The German manufacturer’s key market is concert touring and it was reportedly impressed with the distributor’s existing knowledge of its product catalogue and existing users within the region.
‘We are already seeing the benefits of Fourleaf’s appointment, with several of our products getting specified on a regular basis for major concert tours,’ stated Søren Storm, GLP’s sales director, Asia. ‘We have already seen a fantastic start to 2016 and are confident that we are about to experience our best year ever in the territory.’ Mr Storm also noted that Fourleaf was ‘young, hungry and with a high energy level,’ and that it would ‘also be targeting fixed installations in addition to the rental market’.
‘We are delighted to be handling GLP, as they are the first company to have made a success with LED moving lights,’ added Fourleaf president and CEO, Shinichi Kikukawa. ‘We believe we will be able to raise their profile.’
Fourleaf will reportedly benefit from the support of GLP’s Asian office, with Mr Storm and his colleague Michael Muenz, GLP’s general manager, Asia, operating on the same time zone and making regular visits. ‘When it comes to support, GLP’s personnel are way ahead when compared with other companies,’ said Mr Kikukawa.
