Frank Frederiksen to tackle Barix product marketing and strategy

WORLD: Switzerland-based IP specialist Barix AG has named Frank Frederiksen as its new vice president of product marketing and strategy, focusing on defining the manufacturer’s plan to address a range of vertical markets as its product range grows.
Mr Frederiksen has previously served as strategic marketing and innovation manager for Philips, and product and technology manager for ST-Ericsson. He is described by Barix as having fulfilled a ‘variety of senior management positions in program and technology management’.
‘I have been involved in the development side, but have also had time in front of customers,’ Mr Frederiksen explained. ‘I hope to bridge the two sides at Barix. What is important in any market is to bring innovative technology to the customer at the right time and price.’
