Further myMix seminars planned for Asia following Singapore event

ASIA: A series of hands-on seminars introducing end-users to the myMix personal mixing system is being planned after a church-based event in Singapore was declared a success by myMix manufacturer Movek and its Singaporean distributor Broadcast Professional Pte Ltd.
Taking place in May at the Kum Yan Church in Singapore’s Queen Street, the seminar saw Broadcast Professional take a new approach towards promoting myMix, encouraging each attendee to use a system for themselves. ‘We usually host presentation sessions where we showcase line arrays and loudspeakers in a small conference room,’ explained sales engineer Adwin Lin. ‘This was not a typical seminar and we did not know it would work so well.’
As a result of the success of the seminar – a large number of myMix units were reportedly sold on the day – a series of similar events are now being considered for markets including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, India and Indonesia. Further workshops in Singapore are also expected to take place. No announcements have been made yet regarding dates and locations for the seminars, but they are expected to begin in August.
‘This is a better way to bring myMix to the end user,’ continued Mr Lin. ‘Usual sales methods such as making phone calls and directing people to websites don’t show customers what myMix really does, its flexibility, and how far it can really bring you. With the Academy you have the myMix experience.’
