Genelec China relocates to Chaoyang

CHINA: Genelec China has relocated its office, moving from Beijing’s Central Business District to Hengtong Business Park, an international business area around Wangjing in the Chaoyang district. To celebrate the move, the company held an opening ceremony at the new offices for its distributors and agents as well as numerous VIPs from the Chinese professional audio industry. In addition to the opening ceremony, the event featured a review and hands-on demonstration of the manufacturer’s latest products.
As a part of the ceremony, Genelec China national director Feng Hanying delivered an opening speech, taking the opportunity to thank the guests for attending and for their trust in Genelec’s products before discussing the subsidiary’s performance last year. Also in attendance was marketing and public relations director Lars-Olof Janfold, who congratulated the subsidiary’s move and success over the previous year. Additionally, Genelec founder Ilpo Martikainen and managing director Siamäk Naghian made an appearance via video-link.
Following the speeches, product demonstrations took place in the new office’s listening room, including the 8010 and 1238A studio monitors.
