Group Technologies to distribute Linkx Sound Field Systems
Published: ASIA
AUSTRALIA: Group Technologies has announced that it is to exclusively represent Linkx Sound Field Systems throughout Australia, describing the brand, which is specifically aimed at the education market, as addressing ‘a very important and often overlooked application of audio’.
The Linkx Sound Field Systems range comprises infra-red wireless technologies intended to improve classroom intelligibility via the installation of distributed audio systems. Included within the Linkx product offering is the T-6 neck-worn IR pendant microphone, the IRM 202AB hand held transmitter, the IRS-55 infra-red receiver, and a two-channel, four output amplifier named the IRA-89 2. While the Linkx range does not include loudspeakers, the manufacturer’s fellow Group Technologies brands Quest Audio and RCF are being recommended by the distributor for use in Linkx installations, specifically the wall-mounted Quest MS 401 and RCF’s PL 81/A in-ceiling model.
According to Group Technologies’ Anthony Touma, the company is ‘delighted’ with the news and ‘genuinely excited about this range of products’.
