Hamamatsu College graduates with K-array

JAPAN: Rental company Livegear provided a K-array sound reinforcement system for Hamamatsu College’s recent foreign language program graduation ceremony. The city’s stadium hosted the event, and the client specified a system that could provide wide coverage in addition to being easy to carry and quick to set up.
Bobby Tanadi, LiveGear’s purchasing manager, stated that the technical team decided to use six K-array KH4 two-way line array speaker modules for the ceremony ‘because the system is reputed to be perfect for large and complex venues where sound coverage is important for a wide-span audience.
‘The speakers got some suspicious looks from people not quite confident that such a sleek system could get the job done,’ he added. ‘But they quickly changed their minds once they heard how small can also be mighty. It’s a real speaker– not a toy – and required a small amount of effort for such a big job.’
