Harman India launches service centre in Kolkata

INDIA: Harman Professional India recently launched an Authorised Harman Service Centre (AHSC) in Kolkata to extend its service support in eastern India for the entire Harman Professional range. Located in Aurobindo Sarani, City Service has been appointed as the Authorised Harman Service centre for the eastern region.
‘West Bengal, the surrounding states – Orissa, Bihar and the vast expanse of the seven states in the north eastern region have been identified as key high potential markets for professional sound applications: installed sound, broadcast and tour sound,’ said David McKinney, senior director, India operations, Harman Professional.
‘This service centre in Kolkata will serve as an excellent hub and is an example of Harman’s assurance to provide the best-in-class service and customer support network,’ he continued. ‘A rapid expansion and set-up of authorised centres, led by Ganesh Kumar, service manger, Harman Professional, has been an integral part of our expansion strategy in India. This launch only strengthens our commitment to serve regional customers, in-time and on-time.’
‘The centre will function as a comprehensive service provider for a better customer experience during after sales support for both walk-in and on-site customers,’ added Mr Kumar.
Harman India’s company-owned service centre in Bangalore will continue to provide service and customer support for the southern region, and will offer technical repair support for all service centres.
