Harman opens first service centre in China

CHINA: The first Chinese Harman Professional Customer Service Centre has opened at the Shenzhen North Technology Park in Nanshan District. The opening was described by the manufacturer as ‘another important step in its mission to provide quality services for Harman China customers’, and will reportedly streamline the repair process by allowing direct communication between local dealers and the centre’s engineers.
‘After continued expansion our sales now cover AKG, IDX and Martin Professional brand products, and to meet this expansion it is necessary that we provide more after-sales support for our partners,’ said David Mckinney, general manager of Harman Professional China. ‘We have an experienced professional services team in Shenzhen, led by our customer service manager Wenbo Wang. From now on, when our partners raise product issues, we will be able to provide them with immediate feedback. We also plan to expand our customer service elsewhere in China to ensure all areas are covered.’
In addition to providing services for the manufacturer’s partners, end users can request aftermarket and technical support from the Harman Pro China website.
