Harman Professional India launches toll free support helpline

INDIA: Harman Professional has partnered with Flyjac Logistics to launch a toll free helpline for channel partners and customers across India. The toll free helpline - 1800-208-8880 – will operate from 10am to 7pm from Monday to Saturday, with language support in English and Hindi. The helpline will address queries related to products, applications and after sales support, allowing customers across the country increased accessibility.

Harman has operated a company-owned service centre in Bangalore since the company set up in India in 2012, and also runs authorised service centres in Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata offering technical support, trouble shooting, component level repair and spare part supplies. The helpline will complement this network of service centres, handling Harman Professional brands including AKG, BSS, Crown, dbx, JBL, Lexicon, Soundcraft and Studer, plus the Martin Professional range of lighting and video equipment.

‘Customer support has always been the cornerstone of our offerings in India,’ said Ganesh Kumar, senior manager, service, Harman Professional India. ‘This move only reiterates our focus in enhancing our service levels across the country, with support being just a call away.’

With a proven infrastructure, network and integrated IT support, Flyjac Logistics is providing the infrastructure and technical support for the helpline. This is in addition to Harman’s existing association with Flyjac for various supply chain solutions including freight management, reverse logistics and other related services. ‘We are proud to have been associated with Harman Professional as their supply chain manager since 2012, offering IT enabled integrated logistics solutions,’ said AV Ravi Kumar, joint managing director, Flyjac Logistics. ‘This is an innovative solution for call handling through our software LMERGE. With this launch, the association between Flyjac and Harman will move a notch higher.’
