Harman promotes Henry Goldansky to director of engineering

WORLD: Henry Goldansky has been named director of engineering for Harman Pro’s loudspeaker division. Prior to his promotion, Mr Goldansky worked with the JBL brand as senior engineering manager, first joining Harman in 2007. In his new position he will report to Bryan Bradley, vice president and general manager of the Professional Loudspeaker SBU.

Mr Goldansky started his career in 1986 as a transducer engineer designing loudspeakers for Cerwin-Vega in Simi Valley, California. Later on became general manager of design engineering for Pioneer Speakers. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

He describes himself as possessing ‘a unique understanding of the high expectations to which we hold ourselves at Harman’, adding that he is ‘looking forward to exceeding these expectations in my new position’.

Following the appointment, Mr Bradley commented: ‘Henry’s wealth of experience and technical knowledge, combined with his creativity and leadership makes him an ideal fit to head up our engineering team at the Loudspeaker SBU. I have every confidence that Henry will build on our pedigree of excellence while carving a path of innovation.’
