SINGAPORE: Christie has announced its largest-ever single sale to a rental staging company – 80 Boxer 4K30 and 15 Roadie 4K45 3DLP projectors to Singapore-based Hexogon Solution Pte Ltd. A Christie partner and long-time user of the manufacturer’s products, the new units join its already impressive inventory of projectors and will enable it to increase its rental capabilities. The rental house has also invested in coolux’s Pandoras Box platform, which was acquired by Christie at the beginning of the year. The Pandoras Box purchase also formed the largest ever for coolux products in South East Asia.
‘We are thrilled to be the first rental staging company in Asia to be equipped with Christie’s latest and most advanced visual solutions that will provide us with the competitive edge,’ said Adrian Goh, managing director, Hexogon Solution. ‘With our acquisition of the Christie Boxer 4K30, Christie Roadie 4K45 and Pandoras Box media system, we’ll be capable of delivering even more exciting projection mapping content and effects for our clients in the region. As a long-time user of Christie products, I’m confident that these new and innovative visual solutions will continue to offer the high performance and reliability that we can depend on.’
To date, Hexogon has used Christie equipment on a number of high-profile projects in Singapore, most notably the National Day Parade at the Marina Bay Floating Platform, where for the last three years it has provided projection mapping and multimedia content. It was also responsible for a projection mapping show onto the façade of the Fullerton Hotel and the Merlion Statue during the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2015 event – reportedly featuring the largest number of Christie projectors ever deployed for an event staged in Singapore.
‘We are proud to support Hexogon Solution’s investment in all of Christie’s products, most notably the Christie Boxer 4K30 and Roadie 4K45 family – two of our newest projectors with a high lumen level and high resolution – which fully meet the company’s need to bring a myriad of visuals to life,’ stated Ken Wheatley, director of sales, Christie Asia Pacific.
‘We’re proud to have an experienced rental staging partner like Hexogon Solution on our side for years, and acquiring our latest and cutting-edge solutions with confidence,’ added Lin Yu, VP of Christie Asia Pacific. ‘With its years of expertise in staging outdoor events, we look forward to seeing the projectors and Pandoras Box media systems deliver fascinating visuals that create memorable shared experiences.’
