Hiroo Sasaki appointed Apantacs chief representative for Japan

JAPAN: Apantac LLC has appointed Hiroo Sasaki as its chief representative for the Japanese marketplace. Apantac president Thomas Tang described Mr Sasaki as ‘a fundamental and integral part to our overall Asia Pacific market strategy’.
In his new role, Mr Sasaki will work to drive sales and business development activities for Apantac’s Tahoma Multiviewers and MT Hood extenders, Mazama, and Cresent families of signal processing solutions throughout Japan.
Mr Sasaki has accumulated over 40 years of experience in technical marketing, engineering and management roles, and most recently held the position of CEO and business development manager at Innovatec Associates, an organisation he co-founded that specialises in real-time visualisation and simulation development, as well as being an integration company for display solutions. Prior to founding the company, Mr Sasaki was director of solutions for the R&D division of SGI Japan, where he led various scientific visualisation projects related to computer simulation technology.
‘I have worked with Mr Sasaki for more than 20 years and we welcome him to the Apantac team,’ said Mr Tang. ‘His wealth of knowledge in system integration, broadcast and visual solutions will strengthen Apantac's market penetration in Japan.’
