His Majesty’s Theatre goes digital with Riedel

AUSTRALIA: His Majesty’s Theatre in Perth has recently been equipped with a Riedel Digital Intercom system. Traditional analogue partylines were replaced with the brand’s Performer Digital Party Line, whilst the wireless system was replaced with an Acrobat Digital Wireless system.
Four Artist control panels give total control to the users at the theatre, while the Artist matrix allows for flexible communication options. The Acrobat wireless system runs at 1.9GHz, and the single CC-8 base station is able to control up to 18 wireless belt packs – each with two full-duplex channels.
Interfacing options allow the audio team to replace the various different paging microphones, combining them directly into the Stage Manager’s 1RU control panel. Meanwhile, the matrix software allows technicians to control conversations – meaning that His Majesty’s Theatre’s crew only hear what they need to.
