Iconic Thai facility purchases API 1608

THAILAND: An analogue API 1608 console has been installed into Bangkok’s ICONIC Clubbing Studio, a premier recording facility in the city, with the manufacturer’s director of sales Dan Zimbelman promoting the sale as an indication of the brand’s growth within the Asia Pacific as a whole.

Iconic Clubbing Studio operates a unique approach to the recording business which it calls ‘Music Modelling’, effectively offering its clients a full-package of promotional material above and beyond the recordings they create. It’s portfolio incorporates services such as photography plus music production, mastering and postproduction. The facility refers to this broad activity as ‘a bridge to a major record label’.

‘API remains committed to supporting artists, studios, engineers and producers in Thailand, as well as those in India, Taiwan and the rest of the Asia Pacific region,’ explained Mr Zimbelman, following the sale. ‘With the 1608's placing in Iconic Clubbing Studio, more engineers and musicians will be able to experience the analogue warmth of API's discrete audio signal path first-hand.’
