iLive used to commemorate earthquake victims

CHINA: An Allen & Heath iLive digital console is being used to help commemorate the students, teachers and staff members of the Xuankou Middle School in Yingxiu, who fell victim to an earthquake in May 2008.

A sound system has been constructed on the site of the tragedy as part of a tribute to those who lost their lives as a result of the earthquake, which occurred on May 12th 2008. Divided into three sections, the design incorporates sound reinforcement for public speaking, music applications and background music in a main square, background music in an exhibition hall, and general background music in surrounding public areas.

All mixing for the system is performed via the iLive console, which includes a T112 surface and an iDR481 stage rack. An Allen & Heath GL 2900 has also been provided as a back-up mixer.
