Integrated System Design adds Thump to Smaaash

INDIA: Following the installation of Mackie and Dynatech equipment at the A.C.I.D private party area at Smaaash entertainment complex in Mumbai, the Smaaash management has chosen to replicate the successful design at its newest location in Gurgaon.
Offering a range of activities from Bowling and Cricket, as well as chill out areas such as the Uncorked Bar and Bazzinga Café, the Smaaash management believes a share of its success is due to the ‘high-energy’ sound systems in place at its venues.
‘People always say that the music we play here keeps their energy levels high at all times,’ commented a representative from the Smaaash management. ‘We believe a lot of this credit is shared with the amazing sound system that we have in place here.’
Newly installed at the Gurgaon complex are 12 Mackie Thump 12-inch active loudspeakers deployed across various locations encompassing the common gaming areas. A further two Mackie Thump 15-inch active enclosures provide coverage in the party lounge and five P.Audio PCS-6FNT ceiling speakers provide coverage at busy areas. The ceiling speakers are driven by a Dynatech PA250 amplifier. Custom made passive subwoofers integrating P.Audio drivers and powered by Dynatech V4000 power amplifiers provide low-end support across the entire premises. The entire loudspeaker system is managed and controlled through the DPA260 and DPA360 management systems from Dynatech.
The audio system at Smaaash Gurgaon was designed and commissioned by Integrated System Design (ISD), with the equipment sourced through Dev Electronics and Mackie, Dynatech and P.Audio distributor, Sonotone Electronics.
