J Davis supplies Swedish House Mafia in Bangalore

INDIA: J Davis Prosound & Lighting were called into action to supply the audio and lighting equipment for the recent Swedish House Mafia performance in Bangalore. The concert had to be delayed after the plane bringing the trio from Jakarta was damaged, but one day after it was originally planned, the Sunburn Arena concert at Bharatiya City took place.
For this leg of the trio’s farewell tour, J Davis Prosound & Lighting provided an L-Acoustics System as the main PA. A total of 12 V-Doscs and two Kudos were hung per side, and used with 16 SB 28 and 14 SB 218 subs for low end reinforcement. Eight L-Acoustics Arcs were used as in-fills and a further six Kudos per side were used for delays. The System was powered using a combination of L-Acoustics LA 48a and LA 8 amplifiers. Processing was through Dolby Lake and system tuning was done using Smaart Live.
On stage, Swedish House Mafia used a total of six Pioneer CDJ 2000 decks and a DJM 900 mixer. Four L-Acoustics Arcs along with a pair of SB 28s were used for the DJ monitors. The support acts used three CDJ 2000s and one DJM 900 mixer, and had two Martin Audio LE 1500 cabinets along with a pair of QSC K-18 active subs for monitors.
Avid were the consoles of choice at both front of house and monitors. Both positions called on Venue SC48 desks and an XTA DS 800 active splitter.
The Lighting comprised of 24 Silver Star Cyan 8000 XE washes, 14 Elation Platinum Beam 5 R, 20 Acme Strobes, 16 Four-Lite Molefays, four Claypaky Alpha Spot HPE, and four ETC Profiles all controlled by Grandma MA 2 Console.
