Jands announced as exclusive Australian distributor for Furman

AUSTRALIA: Jands has been announced as Furman’s exclusive Australian distributor. ‘Professionals whose livelihood depends on equipment continuing to work will be well served by the products offered by Furman,’ said Jands CEO Paul Mulholland.
Mr Mulholland reports that in recent years he has been made aware of Jands customers’ growing need and demand for mains protection and management products. ‘I have long admired the innovative products developed by Furman, and Jands are proud to be associated with the company,’ Mr Mulholland said.
‘Clean, regulated power is essential for the sensitive equipment used in modern Audio Visual systems,’ said Jeff MacKenzie, head of Jands TRG. ‘Mains supply noise and/or high supply voltage can cause a raft of problems ranging from equipment failure, unexpected glitches and hanging of CPU based systems, as well as derogation of signal quality. Furman regulates and conditions the mains supply, providing equipment protection – thus avoiding down time and costly repairs. Basically anything that plugs into a mains outlet will benefit from the addition of a Furman power conditioner,’ he concluded.
