Jason Tan named Mackie APAC product specialist

SINGAPORE: Industry veteran Jason Tan has joined Loud Technologies’ Music Gear Group, having been named APAC product specialist for the Mackie brand. Based in Singapore, Mr Tan brings more than 20 years of experience in professional audio to his new role.
A well known figure in the Asian industry, Mr Tan has extensive touring and recording experience. However he is perhaps best known as the founder of Eastwardaudio, where he oversaw productions for Universal Music, Sony BMG, EMI, Pony Canyon, and other major labels, as well as film scores and work for corporate clients including Coca Cola, Lexus, Hitachi, and Motorola. Singapore’s National Arts Council also appointed him as a mentor to its youth music programme.
