JBL Vertec line array system selected for Heath Ledger Theatre

AUSTRALIA: Vizcom Technologies has integrated a JBL Vertec subcompact line array system at the 575-capacity Heath Ledger Theatre in Perth. The system was sold through Harman’s Australian distributor Jands, and marks the first fixed installation of a Vertec system in Western Australia.
The Heath Ledger Theatre’s main left/right FOH speaker arrays now comprise the new Vertec VT4886 subcompact line arrays, complemented by JBL VT4883 subcompact arrayable subwoofers on each side.
‘The new system has performed better than a lot of people had expected it to,’ said Graham Piper, technical manager at the State Theatre Centre. ‘In fact, everyone who has it heard agrees that it was a good choice. There’s been nothing but a positive response for the JBL Vertec system.’
