Jerrold Stevens joins EAW as director of Application Support Group

WORLD: EAW’s vice president and general manager, Jeff Rocha, has announced the appointment of Jerrold Stevens as director of Application Support Group (ASG). The appointment follows the company’s decision to expand its ASG, where as of May 2011, Mr Stevens will serve as a technical liaison between EAW’s customers, sales force, and R&D team.
EAW reports that Mr Stevens, who has been a regular instructor for NSCA and InfoComm, previously enjoyed a career at PMK Consultants and PMK International as a project manager and principal consultant, where he gained an extensive understanding of planning and design, project management, and the installation, operation, and designing of audio systems for facilities across the U.S and the Middle East. Previously lecturing at Integrated Systems expos in Singapore, Amsterdam, and at Palme Dubai, Mr Stevens also serves on InfoComm International's professional education and training committee.
In his new position, which includes direct oversight and management of ASG’s worldwide resources, Mr Stevens will be responsible for emphasising EAW’s ongoing educational initiatives. His role as director of ASG will include leading, refining and developing the pre and post sale contribution of EAW to system design, support and optimisation.
Mr Rocha described himself as ‘thrilled’ at Mr Steven’s acceptance of the position of director of ASG. ‘His unique combination of domestic and international system design, optimisation and project management, coupled with his background as a respected educator, makes him the ideal fit for EAW,’ he enthused.
Based in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, Mr Stevens will work closely with EAW’s strategic engineering and manufacturing group.
