Joe Hallman Joins Pesa in marketing role

WORLD: Pesa has announced that Joe Hallman has joined the company as the marketing manager for the Pesa Xstream product line. He will be focused on all aspects of marketing for the multi-path IP streaming appliance, including competitive analysis, dealer training, and multimedia campaign development.
During a 16-year career with Avocent, Mr Hallman gathered extensive sales and marketing experience. He started as a territory manager for the mid-west before being promoted to a major account manager, and then spent more than seven years as product marketing manager. Most recently, he served as a competitive intelligence analyst for the company.
‘Joe really understands the importance of core messaging and positioning that is required for a product line to reach its full potential,’ said John T Wright, Pesa senior vice president, sales and business development. ‘He’s here to help identify future applications for the Pesa Xstream product line and help us foster new relationships with developers and integrators.
