Jérémie Mekaelian appointed head of international sales at Netia

WORLD: Software solutions developer, Netia, has appointed Jérémie Mekaelian as head of international sales. In his new role, he will be tasked with leading the company’s continued development and implementation of sales and presales initiatives.
‘Jérémie comes to this position with a wealth of experience surrounding the sales and marketing of technology for the audiovisual industries,’ said Thierry Gandilhon, managing director of Netia. ‘He is passionate about technology, and his enthusiasm and expertise in virtually all aspects of technology sales make him a wonderful addition to the company.’

Mr Mekaelian joins the company with more than 10 years’ experience in the IT, telecoms and media industries – gaining expertise in audio, speech and video coding. He has held key roles with several French government-owned companies, including business developer for France Telecom's R&D division, where he helped to rebrand the division as Orange Labs.
