Jünger’s Peter Poers to discuss immersive audio at ABU 2016

MALAYSIA: Jünger Audio’s Peter Poers will be speaking at this year’s Asian Broadcast Union (ABU) Conference 2016 as part of its Digital Broadcasting Symposium programme. Held at the Istana Hotel from February 29th to March 3rd, the Symposium aims to ‘stimulate and enhance delegates thinking about business and technology strategies’, as well as to provide a future roadmap for the highly competitive radio and television services market. Mr Poers' workshop will take place on Wednesday March 2nd from 4.00-5.30pm and will focus on immersive technologies, including a look at the development of next generation audio systems and how they can enhance the listener experience.

Besides the workshop session, Mr Poers will be present on the JAA Systems Sdn Bhd booth (no.12), where he invites attendees to come and discuss the workshop in further detail.

JAA Systems will showcase Junger Audio's new processing boards for the C8000 modular system on the booth, alongside the manufacturer’s range of loudness management and digital audio solutions. The introduction of the new C8092, C8492B and C8492 processing boards will reportedly allow the company to deliver improved algorithms to its customers by enabling them to complete the same processing tasks in a more efficient way, while the higher processing density of the C8092 and C8492B boards will enable many typical configurations to be created using less frame space.
