K-array takes training to China

CHINA: K-array travelled to China recently to conduct a four-day training workshop with its Chinese distributor, RACPro. Taking place at the distributor’s offices in Guangzhou, the sessions were attended by 20 participants and were presented by the Italian manufacturer’s service manager, Daniel Strassera. It reportedly covered all product categories, software management and product troubleshooting.

‘We sell innovative products that are very different from everything on the market,’ offered Mr Strassera. ‘Initially, new distributors love our products but aren’t exactly sure of all their features. Our training is a way to develop a large team of global technical experts who can fully support their local market.’

In addition to an overview of the products from the prototype stage through to the current offerings, the sessions also explored K-array’s Slim Array Technology (SAT) and digital beam steering. The workshop concluded with a look at how to identify and resolve technical issues related to possible failures, as well as educating attendees on the conditions of product warranties.

‘As a new recruit at RACPro, I found the training quite overwhelming at the very beginning. But it turned out to be everything I hoped it would be,’ said RACPro product manager, Dawn Ho. ‘Daniel provided great depth on the topics by breaking everything down into simplified sections and was able to discuss off-topic areas as well. The presentation was structured in very digestible segments and training objectives were clearly explained and achieved. This K-array training course helped me in all areas that I was previously unclear about. This enlightening jumpstart is exactly what I needed.’
