K-Array tours China with Studio 188

CHINA: Sennheiser China, K-Array’s distributor in Asia, has been supporting Michael ‘El Ray’ Luevano (of the band Studio 188) by helping the group acquire a K-Array KR402 powered stereo system for their performances across China. The 10-member band performs at least 70 shows per year and boast a repertoire of 300 songs.

In 2012, Jalil Auckbaraullee starting playing the drums for Studio 188, and he introduced K-Array to the band. ‘As a live band, we wanted to give our clients a turn-key solution that included equipment to play on any stage, large and small,’ he said.

‘K-Array provides high-end quality for big and small venues,’ he continued. ‘Time is also really important as we need to set up, play and dismantle quickly, and K-Array allows us to do that. When I play I already have an idea of what I’m looking for in a speaker and microphone, and the combination of Sennheiser and K-Array is magical. With K-Array the coverage is perfect, you can move where you want and the sound is still amazing.’

‘I want to thank Marc Vincent from Sennheiser China for his trust,’ he said. ‘Working with K-Array and Sennheiser has raised my standards as a sound engineer. I hope to keep it up!’
