Karma Bar and Lounge equipped with RCF

MALAYSIA: A club named the Karma Bar and Lounge, located within the Cyberview Resort and Spa in Cyberjaya has benefitted from a recent RCF sound system installation. The system was jointly installed by Acoustic & Lighting System and Spectrum Sound Works Entertainment.
Four RCF NXL-23A active line array modules were installed into the club, as were two NX S-25A subwoofers and four ART315A active monitor speakers. Additional equipment installed included a CFX20 MK2 20-channel mixer from Mackie, and a TTM57 DJ mixer from Rane. Two CDJ1000MK3 CD mixers and a DVD player from Pioneer were also selected for the install, as was equipment from the manufacturers Sennheiser, Alto, and LAX.
‘There is always something fascinating and refreshing about a club with good ambience,’ said Roy Mukiah from Spectrum Sound Works Entertainment. ‘In Karma, they are trying to reach out to a crowd who enjoy fashionable dining, good music, exquisite food, and vibrant, distinctive ambiance. From our side, we needed to ensure that the sound system was impactful, clear and memorable to create and reinforce the image of the club. We trust RCF to do a great job for this club,’ he asserted.
Four XS250 moving head spots from PR Lighting were selected for the club’s interior, as was a Rave 512x2 DMX lighting controller from Compulite. ‘It wasn’t easy to create a good lighting atmosphere in the club,’ he admitted. ‘The main point is to balance and complement the whole ambiance. Of course it doesn’t hurt that PR Lighting equipment is reliable, and it turned out to be a really suitable lighting system for Karma.’
For the visual side of the install, a Sanyo PLC-XW250 projector was selected, as was equipment from Panasonic and GVFA.
