Keisuke Kobayashi joins Audio-Technica Corporation

JAPAN: Audio-Technica Corporation has announced that Keisuke Kobayashi has been appointed to the position of general manager of product strategy. Mr Kobayashi joins the company after 38 years in the employment of Yamaha Corporation.
Based in Tokyo, Mr Kobayashi has joined Audio-Technica Corporation with an aim to raise brand awareness in the region.
Mr Kobayashi previously spent three years working in Paris where he oversaw the integration of Nexo into Yamaha’s professional audio division. Prior to that, he worked as Yamaha’s marketing coordination manager in the US and as managing director for Yamaha Music Australia.
‘I never thought I would work for another company after my long service with Yamaha,’ Mr Kobayashi admitted. ‘But Audio-Technica is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, and I have long admired their engineered products and designs. I feel at home and am very much looking forward to the challenge of this new role,’ he enthused.
