Korea’s Alpha Sound joins Energia network

KOREA: Alpha Sound of South Korea has become the latest Asian rental company to join the Adamson Energia Network. It has purchased a sizeable system from the Canadian manufacturer’s Seoul-based distributor Sound Solution.
Described by Adamson Engineering as ‘one of Korea’s leading full service live event production companies’, Alpha Sound has now taken delivery of 24 E15 and eight E12 line array enclosures plus 18 E218 subwoofers. The entire rig is intended for use at a number of upcoming concerts and festivals in the South Korean capital, while the full-range boxes will also be used individually for smaller events.
According to Alpha Sound chief manager, Hyunmim Moon, the company was attracted to the Adamson boxes by their ease of rigging and the ability to create system designs with the manufacturer’s Blueprint AV software. ‘The Energia system sounds terrific and is very easy for us to use,’ explained Mr Moon. ‘Together it is a very powerful system that we will put to great use.’
‘We are thrilled that Alpha Sound has become an Energia partner,’ added David Dohrmann, Adamson’s technical director for Asia Pacific. ‘They are a tremendous company that provides nothing but the best quality to their customers. Their decision to invest in the E-Series line is a feather in our cap.’
