KSL Hotel and Mall equipped with Electro-Voice solution

MALAYSIA: System Communications Engineering Sdn Bhd recently installed an Electro-Voice sound reinforcement solution into the KSL Properties Sdn Bhd-owned KSL Hotel and Mall in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
KSL Properties Sdn Bhd required an affordable, one-brand solution to ensure easy maintenance and service support in the future, and sought out a manufacturer with a local reputable presence. After considering several options, the client found that Electro-Voice products were the most suitable solution. Furthermore, the end user already had a good working relationship with the Johor-based systems integrator.
The ZX and SX family were among the Electro-Voice loudspeakers installed, and were selected for their versatility and practicality. Also installed were a number of cabinets from the brand’s EVA series, along with S-40B loudspeakers and TX1181 subwoofers. The manufacturer’s CPS, Q99 and PA220T amplifiers power the loudspeakers, whilst a DC-One speaker controller allows for easy management and integration of the various systems.
‘The affordability of the Electro-Voice sound systems allowed the end-user to keep well within their budget,’ said an Electro-Voice spokesperson. ‘A one-brand solution also offered easy maintenance and service support from the system integrator and Bosch. Moreover, the strong brand presence of Bosch and Electro-Voice in Johor satisfied the end-user requirements of the systems having a reputable local presence.’
