MALAYSIA: Melbourne-based manufacturer ARX Systems has announced the supply of four broadcast splitters to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) by its Malaysian dealer, SCA World Connection.
‘Since opening in June 2005, the KLCC has maintained a consistent standard of service delivery and continued investment in infrastructure, which has assisted in maintaining its reputation as Malaysia’s premier and most technologically-advanced facility,’ explained KLCC general manager, lan Pryor.
The centre will use the splitters to provide signal distribution throughout the premises, including to and from its 3,000-seat and 500-seat auditoria and 12,3310 sq-m exhibition space – which itself comprises a 2,600 sq-m marquee, 200-seat Grand Ballroom, 500-seat Banquet Hall, Conference Hall and additional meeting rooms.
‘In an effort to stay ahead of the curve and remain a world-class facility, we work closely with suppliers such as long-time partner SCA World Connection,’ continued Mr Pryor. ‘A great example of this is the recent delivery of four ARX BSX16 two-input/16 output transformer-isolated active broadcast splitters to assist in improving our interview audio signal distribution needs across all events.'
‘Steven Foong and his team at SCA are very active in the Malaysian corporate and production market sectors, and offer clients a level of product and technical support second to none in the region,’ commented ARX managing director, Colin Park. ‘ARX is proud that SCA have placed our BSX16s broadcast splitters into what is widely recognised as one of South East Asia’s premier convention and exhibition facilities.’
